Chiranjit Chandra Roy, an unemployed youth from Gokul village, Aladipur Union No. 2, Phulbari Upazila, Dinajpur district, passed the SSC examination twice in 2007 from Melabari High School. As the eldest son of his parents, he has to do some household chores. Despite being admitted to the A-level school, he does not go to college regularly. Poverty and misery are a daily occurrence in their family. Due to his inability to study properly in college, he is not lucky enough to pass his H.S.C. Due to poverty, he worked as an education facilitator for the education program at World Vision Bangladesh, Fulbari ADP, with little education, for eleven months and as a development associate for the development team, but due to the limitations of the program, he became unemployed again.
He continues to live his life in despair. He thinks about a permanent job but does not know what to do. One day, he hears that a basic organization will provide mobile training in basic subjects. Then he contacts the organization's authorities.
Took 10 (ten) days training on poultry farming from the organization. The Department of Youth Development cooperated in the training. Together, 30 (thirty) unemployed youth participated in the training.
After receiving the training, Chiranjit started thinking about how to further train and become proficient in this subject. He started consulting with Basic about this. With the help of BASIC NGO, he received a 75-day training from Dinajpur District Youth Development Office in collaboration with Phulbari Upazila Youth Development to enhance his skills. Chiranjit developed a stronger morale. He became confident enough to establish himself as a village veterinarian. He started contacting the basic organization again. How to improve his skills in the veterinary profession and how to prepare himself as an artificial insemination donor.
The NGO contacted BRAC regarding this matter and received another 30 (days) of advanced training on animal medicine and artificial insemination from Mymensingh University with the support of BRAC.
Currently, he has earned a reputation as an artificial insemination donor and a skilled veterinarian in this union. When we talked to Chiranjit about this, he said that he has stepped into a successful career from an unemployed life. Even though my educational qualification is low, I earn between 750-1500 taka daily in my current profession. From this income, I support my parents' family, there is no shortage or hardship in the family.

Every month, I deposit 1000/- Taka in Pubali Bank, Phulbari branch under the name of Swapnapuran. Behind my success, the local voluntary human welfare organization BASIC of Phulbari upazila has provided all-round support.
